Client attributes her career accomplishments to the help received by her WorkOne employment specialist

From a young age, Gracie Tislow knew that she wanted to help people. She just wasn’t sure what exactly that meant for
her.

Gracie got a job out of school and worked hard to provide for herself, but knew she wanted something more. She
stumbled upon information about a certified medical assistant.

“That kind of spoke to me,” Gracie shares.

Once Gracie found the career where she could help people, she wasn’t sure the steps that she needed to take to get
there. Gracie’s mom had served in the community and mentioned WorkOne and the resources that the office offered to
those who were looking to upskill.

After some research, Gracie decided to make an effort to stop by a WorkOne office.

When Gracie walked into the office, she needed some answers. She wanted to know the most affordable way to achieve her goals as a certified medical assistant.

After sitting down with an employment specialist in the WorkOne office, Gracie was able to learn more about the classes that she needed to take in order to make her dream career a reality. The employment specialist helped Gracie determine the best location to take her classes that worked with her schedule.

Not long after, Gracie started her classes and excelled.

“I’m very grateful because without WorkOne, I don’t think I would have been able to get my classes done as easily as I did,” Gracie shares.

Gracie has now been a certified medical assistant for a year and finds that all the work was extremely rewarding. She is thankful for how WorkOne helped her accomplish the goals that she had for herself.

“It really helped me out, and I wouldn’t have changed that for the world.”
